About the Miss YCHS Pageant

Welcome to the Miss YCHS Pageant website.  We are extremely excited about this being such a new part of history at YCHS with our inaugural pageant being held in November of 2016! 

 

Miss YCHS is a character education program seeking to promote self-esteem, teamwork, service, communication skills, poise, grace, style, and encourage ambition in young women.  The skills gained by being in The Miss YCHS Pageant are skills that will carry throughout a lifetime. The young women that compete feel a sense of belonging with the other contestants, and the larger pageant community.

The Miss YCHS Pageant also gives a platform for the young women at YCHS to have a voice, and to showcase their talents. 

 

We hope that this pageant opportunity will be an exciting journey for students and an evening they will never forget! 

 

The Miss YCHS Pageant is for young ladies in 9th-12th grade.
